How to avoid the collision of AGV

The flexible manufacturing system of multiple AGV requires traffic control so that the AGV will not touch each other. Traffic control can be performed locally in the AGV or through software in fixed computers elsewhere in the factory.
First,area control.
Area control is used in most environments because it is simple and easy to expand. Area control uses wireless transmitters to send signals in a fixed area. Each AGV unmanned car contains a sensing device to receive the signal and respond to the transmitter.
Second, sensor control. Sensor control uses obstacle avoidance sensors to avoid collisions with other AGV unmanned vehicles in the area.
Third, inductive control. Inductive control detection is a combination of anti-collision sensors and area control sensors. The combination of the them helps to avoid bumps in any situation. Under normal operating conditions, area control is used, and obstacle avoidance is used for fail-safe.
Shenzhen OKAGV Co., Ltd. dedicates to manufacturing& developing AGV and logistics robots and provides high end AGV equipment and system constantly.
OKAGV products covers lurking AGV, tugger AGV, load transfer AGV, lifting AGV, forklift AGV, warehouse logistics AGV robot, waitress AGV robot etc. Different navigation method are available.
